New Interim
Executive Director at NAHP
Washington, D.C.--(HISPANIC
PR WIRE)--August 23, 2005--The National Association of Hispanic
Publications, Inc. (NAHP) is pleased to announce the appointment
of Alfred Ramirez as Interim Executive Director. During his tenure
as Interim Executive Director, Mr. Ramirez will lead a national
search for new NAHP leadership to drive its advertising sales
in Hispanic print media, spearhead initiatives to increase membership,
develop, and implement key programs of the NAHP.
Mr. Ramirez comes to
the NAHP with many years of experience in the government, nonprofit
and private sectors. He has served as a Special Assistant to the
President, White House Liaison to the Corporation for National
Service and Executive Director of the White House Initiative for
Hispanic Education. Currently, Mr. Ramirez is President of National
Community for Latino Leadership, Inc., a think tank, resource
clearinghouse, and technical assistance provider for Latino leadership.

The Chief Executive
Officer position will oversee contracting for and placement of
national Hispanic print media sales initiatives. Applicants should
have a strong background in media sales, a track record of growing
advertising sales, solid understanding of the Hispanic community
