McAdam, Vice-President of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Joins the Hispanic
Media Corporate Council

PR WIRE)--June 26, 2006--Robert S. McAdam, Vice President of Corporate
Affairs for Walt-Mart Stores, Inc, is a new member of the Hispanic
Media Corporate Council (HMCC) at the National Association of
Hispanic Publications (NAHP).
As a member of the
Corporate Council, McAdam is joining a select group of media industry
executives to engage in conversations across the country about
Hispanic consumer trends and media research. He will advise the
NAHP and its Foundation on capacity building issues and address
important concerns about the media industry and the community
it serves.

McAdam has spent more
than 25 years in the national political arena with specific focus
on media relations, election campaign management, grass roots
organizations and legislative issues management. His work has
included national, state and local engagements, as well as political
and grass roots organization abroad.
As Vice President of
Corporate Affairs, McAdam oversees both the Corporate Communications
Team and its relationship with external media relations consultants.
Corporate Communications strives to support the communication
needs of individual business units as well as manage the strategy,
tactics and messaging for our positioning in the external environment.
Earlier this year Wal-Mart
Stores, Inc. and NAHP launched a membership expansion and professional
development initiative to enroll over 100 new member publications
from across the country.
