PRESS RELEASE

Press Release

The Minority Business Directory is changing it's business modal and will not be call "Black Pages" anymore.

Initially, The Minority Business Directory, Black Pages, solicited financial support exclusively from the African-American community however, the success of our publication has afforded us the oppurtunity to expand our target market.

(our 2006 circulation is 400,000). In our brief four years of operations we have skillfully transfered an intentional idea and dream into an accomplished directory of business listings and advertisements. Due to distribution limitations and our desire to reflect a true global paradigm, we are presently adjusting our publication. As an honest represantation of the immense ethnic contribution in our area, we no longer will be referred to as the "Black Pages" but, will retain the more accurately descriptive title, The Minority Business Directory. To aggresively promote traditionally overlooked minority and women-owned businesses to procurement officers and to the community conscience consumer. This original networking tool is distributed effectively and efficiently in targeted zip codes that minorities work and live. The instrumental difference that distinguishes our directory from others, (i.e. Yellow Pages, Verizon, etc...) is the inclusion of the minority business owner's name and ethnicity in the business listing. While non-minorities are more than welcome to obtain a display advertisement, their business listing will not include any reference to their ethnic origin and owner's name. Everybody into the lifeboat! No one is to be left behind. We are creating a new definition of what it means to be human on a planetary scale. The Minority Business Directory offers genuine equality without predjudice or bias, and aggressively seeks minority and non-minority businesses to advertise in our directory.
