College Notebooks Offer Long Life Branding Opportunities for Marketers
GPA Media's spiral notebooks have been an extremely popular and effective marketing platform for companies like P&G, Clinique and Canon on College and University campuses in Mexico. But this year, just in time for the fall semester, the notebooks will be coming to the United States. Appropriately, the notebook program will be initially launched on the campuses of four universities in California, for a combined student distribution of 60,000. However, the Spring '07 distribution will jump to over 35 campuses and more than 250,000 student. Plans are already in place to launch nationwide. Why are the college notebook so popular? First, they are branded and endorsed by each university to which they're offered and distributed free of charge to students. Second, inside the covers students will find a campus map, class scheduler, monthly planner and of course lots of blank notebook pages. Third, the notebooks are divided by 13 glossy stock section dividers that are then offered to advertisers for semester long branding opportunities. Considering the fact that notebooks are a daily way of life for students, these notebooks offer an extremely powerful platform for reaching students multiple times over the four month semester term. Below are some graphics for a sample of the quality.
