12/17/04 - Business 2.0 Launches Multimedia Marketing Campaign:SAN FRANCISCO-- Business 2.0 magazine (www.business2.com) has launched a nationwide multimedia marketing campaign, on the heels of the publication's recent rate base increase and record-year of advertising revenue growth. The multi-tiered initiative involves direct marketing, an electronic and print campaign, as well as an airport diorama creative campaign targeted specifically to business travelers. The campaign was created by Fusebox, a creative and technology firm based in New York City. ... The print ad, rolling out throughout the end of the year in a number of select Time Inc. publications, positions Business 2.0 as "The Business Magazine for Those Who Color Outside the Lines." Concurrently, online ads will run on select Time Inc. Interactive outlets, as well as AOL, Netscape and CNN Internet properties. In addition, similar creative will appear in airport dioramas in major hub cities, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, New York and San Francisco.

12/17/04 - Gap Picks Crispin Porter+Bogusky For Men's Ads:
SAN FRANCISCO --Gap Inc. (GPS) picked Crispin Porter+Bogusky as the new advertising agency for its men's business in North America. Crispin Porter+Bogusky, best known as creators of the "truth" anti-tobacco campaign, will work with Gap's in-house marketing team to develop print and television commercials, as well as non-traditional marketing campaigns. "As part of our ongoing strategy to speak to our male and female customers differently, we'll be working with Crispin Porter+Bogusky to develop distinct marketing campaigns to target men," said Jeff Jones, executive vice president of global marketing for Gap, in a press release Thursday.

12/17/04 - Black Arts Festival Selects Images USA:
ATLANTA Images USA has won a review to provide all advertising and marketing for the 10th annual National Black Arts Festival this summer, the agency said. The independent Atlanta shop plans to launch a campaign for the event in the spring. The advertising will include national television, radio, print and Internet. Billings were not disclosed.
